On Wednesday I created a giveaway for my Discover Your Colour Code online service. I'm giving this away to five lucky winners (click here to enter - it's really easy!). So this week I thought I'd write about the benefits of learning your colour code.
For those of you who don't know, 'colour code' is the name of the colour analysis system I use. There are six different colour codes, and you are one of them based on the colour of your hair, skin and eyes. Your colour code determines the colours that suit you best, along with your best metals, shoe/handbag colours, hair colours and makeup colours.
So without further ado, here are a few benefits of knowing your colour code:
You Glow Wherever You Go
If you're wearing your colours, you always look good. No matter what the occasion, even if you're wearing a super casual outfit, you'll look beautiful - your skin will look clear, your eyes will sparkle, and you'll look younger and fresher. Fine lines or blemishes will diminish and the eye will be drawn straight to your most beautiful feature: your gorgeous face.
You Save Money
You know when you go shopping, come home with a pile of new clothes, put them in your wardrobe and never wear them again? That never happens when you know your colour code. You'll always buy clothes in your best colours, so your wardrobe will become filled with clothes that make you look stunning - you'll want to wear your purchases again and again, because you get showered with compliments every time you wear them.
Shopping Becomes a Breeze
Once you know your colour code, your eye quickly trains itself to instinctively identify your colours in a store. So when you go shopping, you're not wandering aimlessly around the store anymore: your eye draws straight to items in your colours. This saves you so much time, because you take a lot less time finding clothes to take into the change room. You also don't take such a huge pile of clothes into the change room, because you know before even trying an item on whether it will work for you based on its colour.
Your Wardrobe Mixes and Matches
When you are assigned your colour code, you receive a palette of your 36 best colours. The good news is, all the colours in your palette mix and match easily. So once your wardrobe is filled with your colours, everything will go together because the colours coordinate so well with each other. This gives you more bang for your buck, as you can make multiple outfits from a small number of garments. It's the smart way to create your wardrobe.
It's Easier To Buy Online
Finally, shopping online becomes so much simpler. When you don't know your colour code, you have no way of knowing if a particular item will look good on you without trying it on. This means that when you shop online, you're shopping blind. But when you know your colours, you can buy online without worrying if an item will look good on you because if it's in your colours, it's guaranteed to harmonise with your natural colouring and make you glow!
