Top Trends for Each Style Personality

I love following the trends.

I'm not ruled by them - to me, trends are something to be aware of to ensure your style stays current.

But it's also important to not let the trends define you. You need to develop your own personal style that is flavoured by the different trends as they come and go.

To me, trends are just a bit of fun!

Read on to learn four new trends in the fashion world and which style personality they best match.
Creative Original: Romantic Floral Dresses

These dresses are everywhere right now, and are perfect for the Creative Original. A wrap-style dress is almost universally flattering (such as picture 1 and 2) and the soft, floaty fabric and romantic floral pattern is such a beautiful look. This style will particularly speak to the Creative Original as it's slightly bohemian in style, which is a style that a lot of Creative Originals love.

Style Fashionista: Everyday Sequins

Sequins are everywhere right now, and are an incredibly stylish look. You can find them on anything from tops and pants, layering pieces, skirts, and even formal dresses! This style is a little bold and daring for most style personalities - unless you're a Style Fashionista, of course.

Pure Natural: Oversized Sweatshirts

The Pure Natural loves to be comfortable in her clothes, so the oversized sweatshirt trend speaks to her soul. "Hold on... I can be comfortable and stylish?" I can hear her asking. Yes, my dear Pure Natural; you're not dreaming. Just make sure it's not so oversized that it crosses over into sloppy territory!

Classic Modern: High-Waisted Bottoms

To me, there's nothing classier than this next trend: the high-waisted bottoms. This season, it's the paper bag-style waist that's trending. I know; not such a classy-sounding name, but it is a super-classy look. Try it in pants, shorts or even skirts. Just beware if you have a short torso, as it will make you look even shorter! On the other hand, if you have short legs it will make them appear a little longer, which is a plus.

What do you think of these trends? Would you wear them? Why/why not? I'd love to know!

Until next time,

Kiarra
